Sometimes you just have to play.
Table settings are probably my favorite thing to design, create and style. I could literally spend hours on tablescapes and dinner spreads. So me and Kati Nicole Photo made a little deal.
She would take pictures of dinner table and a sweet heart table that I made and I would wear her wedding dress for some bridal shots.
It was honestly a shoot we put together so last min and it was one of my favorites I've ever done.
If you know anything about my style at this point, you know that I'm obsessed with raw materials, blush, rose' and flowers. Metals, wood, clay, foliage. I love it all. And I love to create texture, as much texture as possible. So for this shoot I used my owe hand dyed, silk gauze table runner and linen napkins. For the dinner table setting I just used my favorite, clean and crisp, white salad bowls and for the sweetheart table I used organic shaped, clay plates. Which I'm completely obsessed with. Oh and flowers... and booze... obviously. Those were all the highlights. From there I added in some of my favorite vintage silverware and blush drink ware and basically just went to town.
HUGE shout out and thanks to Good Seed Floral who randomly decided to donated a few beautiful arrangements for this. Caydee Anne for last min making us this incredible and delicious, naked cake. And Andi at Old City Mailroom for being a bad ass and always coming through on the hand made lettering goods.
I can't wait to rock more of these shoots soon!
